Akaru Sushi - Brooklyn

Chipped plates, and super market sushi quality. What do you expect? If you have never had good sushi, this will taste good, but if you had good sushi, this will taste like you made it yourself. Save up some money and go to Katsuno, 103-01 Metropolitan Ave. This place is mediocre.

Yakisoba is dry and flavorless. Tiffany roll is tasteless. Prices on the menu are not what you’re charged at the counter.

We've dined here numerous times, and it’s hands down the BEST sushi I've ever had! You must try the Spider-Man, Mt. Fuji, Dragonfly, and Green Turtle rolls, as well as the Sexy Jalapeño! The food is fantastic, and the service is outstanding!

Great spot for a light dinner! I ordered green tea, which was served in a large beer mug. I also tried the dynamite roll and yellowtail sashimi; the wasabi definitely has a strong kick! Next time, I'll likely opt for more hand rolls, but the specials are definitely worth it as well. I'll be back!

I ordered the Philadelphia roll, the New York roll, and the spicy tuna. Everything was incredibly delicious and fresh. There was a generous amount of ginger, which I appreciated. I tried to find something to critique, but honestly, I couldn't come up with anything. I'm definitely planning to go back tomorrow!
