Bidrage med feedbackThe lady owner is extremely rude and may I say, racist and prejudice towards non-Americans. We were there with a local customer and she treated them wayyy better than us. Everything is horribly overpriced. Will not come again. Word of advice: stay away. The international aisle at Star Market down the road now looks like a way better option that this store.
My husband is from Coimbatore and we find all the brands he's used to, along with specialty things we need for frying, desserts, and certain frozen products. The place is clean but very small; don't bring your kids in here and let them run around. There's bags, boxes, and cans stacked and hidden in every nook and cranny. Take your time to look carefully, you'll find what you're looking for.The owners speak English perfectly fine, they just don't suffer fools. They will gladly help you find something. People complaining on here expect them to run their shop like a Target or Whole Foods, and that's not what this is. At the register they sell tin trays of samosas, wrapped desserts, and there's a lot of signs and cards for South Asian nannies, tailors, and travel agents. Not as large and varied as places in Western Mass, but if you live in the area and need authentic spices, sacks of your favorite brand of rice, South Asian beauty products and soaps, pots/utensils/pans, and things for religious rituals (incense, statues, offerings), definitely go here. The mark-up is because it's close to the city. If you want cheaper, drive to Waltham or New Jersey.
They very nice people the owner help me to find everything that I need to make lamb
Very pricey. Everything is marked up at least 50-70% compared to most other Indian stores. Also, I bought some Indian snacks (overpriced) and they were stale (very strong odor of rancid oil). Indian snacks don't go bad very fast even in room temperature, so I can't imagine how many months it must've been sitting on that shelf.
Really nice small shop with a nice collection of indian groceries and spices. Hard to imagine so many things fit into such a tiny place but very well organized.
