Hudgey's Family - Brookhaven

Omg! Idk where to start. I go once a week and the food is beyond the chain. The buffet price is very reasonable. The staff accommodates the needs of customers in every form and fashion. The cleanliness of the plant is great. They have many customers who explain the positive outlook for food, location and price. I would recommend everyone and everyone to eat here. If I only lived closer, I would eat there at least 3* a week. I have nothing bad to say about this local time. The food is always fresh and full of taste. I love the fact that when you sit and eat, the staff come and check on u continuously to make sure you are okay and if you need any refills or anything ... It is just an amazing place to eat with the family, alone or with colleagues. I've written a photo to show you what you've got and it's so much more.

Excellent food and you wonder how can they serve such large foods at so affordable prices? The best friend chicken I've ever had. You have both a buffet and a la carte menu. We're out of Missouri and stopped for lunch on a trip south. So glad we did.

While I ate Hudgey 's since I was a little girl, I recently rediscovered her during my pregnancy because I had an amazing Hamburg steak. (For $8 you get a Hamburg steak, baked potato and salad to go... Can you beat that? I just ordered, but tonight I went in with my husband and two little kids. You had the buffet, I ordered my usual. The buffet was pretty good. Everything home, south, like your grandmother made it to dinner. The salad is cold and fresh and everything you can eat. The drinks are 'serve', but the waitress/hossin insisted that we be refilled anyway, and our drinks were never empty. All in all, it could be dated, but the food is a hidden jewel and to die. Don't judge a book with his cover!

The food is always freshly cooked, the buffet budget is great. Two can dine under $40. The staff is great, polite and pleasant. The selection of foods is a variety of meat, vegetables and deserts. The only little thing I wished is they had real lemons instead of lemon drops. All 5 stars.
