Salem's Diner - Brook Highland

Plain and simple, you miss this place you missed a gem! Hospitality though the roof. You gotta try the trash can, highly recommended.

Great little hole in the wall diner in downtown Homewood. Somewhat limited seating inside, and it can get busy quickly. Staff is very friendly, though, and our food was ready in good time even at lunchtime on a busy Saturday.Ordered the Philly cheesesteak, a burger, and a side of fruit salad. All were high quality, and the cheesesteak was especially good. Fries are crinkle cut and onion rings are battered, for those with preferences regarding those things.

Great mom pop diner. I've been twice and both times the food was great! The trashcan was amazing but so was my omelet!

Would definitely recommend anything sausage. My biscuit was amazing. Service was amazing and she keeps the coffee coming. Great little diner. Generous portions. I had the philly cheese steak omlette with hash browns. Went on a weekday for brunch around 10am. Easy parking.
