Lady Vee's Southern Cuisine Llc

I drove all the way over there for my lunch about a week ago, and it was closed. I'd heard good reviews and decided to try it out. I called first to see what was the daily menu, but no one answered. I figured it was because they may be crowded and drove there anyway. NOPE. They were closed. When I googled everything was a go, showing opened. It also shows online they serve breakfast, but nope. I was just trying to find another soul food restaurant to add to my list, but inconsistency is a major turn off.

Home cooked food that tastes like your grandma's I always get baked chicken Mac n cheese and cornbread dressing always on point

This is an independent/non-chain restaurant. The food I ordered was AWESOME! Everything! I ordered a bake leg quarter with candied yams, baked beans, cornbread for my main meal. Also ordered a grilled bologna sandwich. The food was warm, tasty, great amount/portions. The price was very fair and reasonable for what you received.The service from Lady Vee and her staff was top-notch!I would HIGHLY SUGGEST that you visit this very tasty eatery when you are in Birmingham. It is well worth it!
