Lechonera El Pollo - BRONX

The food is disgusting the service is horrible. She asked me 3 times if I was ready (to order), I said yes, I would like and she walked away. Three separate times. She told me 3 different prices all ridiculous for 2 plates, cut me off to talk to someone else, and walked away (again) while I was trying to pay. I should 've been loud, left the food on the counter, or kept it and walked out without paying because she was needlessly rude and they weren 't crowded. There were 6 people. 2 seated with food. 1 already paid and chatting with someone at the counter, me and the person I convinced to give this place a try. Plus 3 employees behind the counter. It 's not as if they were full and too many people were demanding her attention. She was just rude. Don 't give them your money or time.

This is unacceptable and is making the community go else where for Spanish food you should be ashamed to even send food like this to a customer. place should be shutdown. L?

I’ve been ordering from this place for years and had no problem but the last 2 times my order was cold and poorly prepared the customer service rep if you can call her that was so nasty this last time I ordered grilled telapia and an order of mashed potatoes I received a steamed watered down telapia with a mashed potatoes no butter like mashed with water disgusting and when I demanded to send me a new order they was upset even had the nerve to tell me where’s the order they sent I gave it to them and still tried to tell me the order was good I told them then you all can share it amongs yourselves never again they started harassing me over the phone that I should of ordered it from somewhere else if I wanted perfection the nerve of those people

My own experience from before Covid and NOW have been the same attitude with this place. But today strike the core in me. Kevin Mode ON. To many times I have I've order the same item(s) and every other day the price different. Or they under new management, new fees for debit/credit uses. It's just always overly charge for simple food hmm what's the truth? y I was in here just yesterday, the day before yesterday it don't matter, I never get an explanation. They get so offensive when you question them, they never look you in the eye (because they know they wrong) and they never seem to give an answer other then price went up. Wtf GTFOH over night ? They credit/debit situation had me going crazy with EXTRA fees (no sign posted) I called them out on this matter too. where the sign or poster that tells me you charging extra fees for me to pay with a debit. They got me f up. Check yelp folks, f this place. Get ya life together. Delicious food but the b spoils my Appetite, like don't be slick with the upcharge on folks.

I visited from California, and I wanted to order one of everything from this place. OMG ? SO ? GOOD? !! I got fried chicken, fried pork/Lechon, fried plantains, rice+beans. I thought I was gonna need bypass surgery afterward, but I didn't care. I was in heaven!!!
