Brother's Seafood - BRONX

While the interior of the restaurant could use some improvements, the fish and chips are delicious enough to make it worth visiting.

As of August 31, 2023, the fact that I can no longer order food from this restaurant on any food delivery apps should have been a warning sign. I tried the all fish dish and it was tough, smelly, and extremely greasy. It was so oily that I could literally squeeze oil out of it. What a disappointment. I will not be returning to this restaurant. Five years ago, I wrote a great review for this place, but now I will have to find a new spot for fried fish because this restaurant no longer meets my standards. The prices are reasonable and the food is decent. While there aren't many options for fried fish, this used to be my go-to spot. I usually order the all fish, steamed vegetables, macaroni and cheese, and wings - you can't really go wrong with these choices.

Wow! My bf found this place on Ubereat’s and we were not disappointed. I didn’t even wanna stop eating and I was already full lol. I can’t wait to order from here or even dine in! I def. want to try their other dishes. This restaurant needs their recognition. Only thing I didn’t like was when I called and asked if they had garlic butter sauce.. I was told to put it in the notes of the Uber eats order and it will be given to me. So thankfully they didn’t forget to give me ranch dressing(even though I asked for blue cheese) so I could dip my seafood and wings in them!

My wife and I had a real craving for some fried seafood and didn't want to drive to City Island so we checked out Brothers. The service was great and the food good. Be careful as they offer generous portions. We ordered the fish and shrimp combo which included fries. I later learned they also served fried catfish which I would have ordered if they had a printed menu. A menu would have earned them a five star rating.
