Bidrage med feedbackA gem in the Bx. Stopped in and was transported back to an old Italian neighborhood. Loved the bread so much we went back the next morning for more. Perfect in every way. Well worth the time.
I called and they told me they got three left and I said am disabled veteran but will wobble to get there. Ms Christina kept her word. I was greeted right away. Kudos
Moved to the south 6 yrs ago, I miss very few things from NYC and this is the #1. Best bread I've ever had!
No where in the Bronx can you find the perfectly baked Italian bread that Addeo Sons Bakery makes. This place has by far the best Italian bread with the crunchiest ends, crunchy crust hiding the perfect inside. All the Italian delicatessens serve and use Addeo bread for their sandwiches. Like I said , I grew up in the Bronx's Little Italy and know where the best of everything for the palate is. Yum to the 10th level!!!?
Racist but at least the bread tasted good. I entered the shop and 3 ladies were in there. They were rude and dismissive and rushed me out of the store. They were counting money, and as soon as I walked in a lady rushed to lock the door until I finished shopping. All I wanted was some fresh bread. When I was about to leave, they started throwing the bread that was on display all in a shopping cart, no bags or anything to protect them. So just a heads up for those that will continue to shop there.
