Little Bengal - Bromsgrove

I have been ordering takeout from Little Bengal (formerly known as New Dilshad) for nearly two decades. Throughout this time, the restaurant has undergone various changes in terms of staff and decor, but the food and service have always been consistently outstanding. It is unfortunate that some individuals have a single negative experience, often related to delivery, and feel the need to immediately leave a bad review. Personally, I have never encountered any issues with food delivery in the past, although I have not utilized the service in over two years. The wait times for pick-up orders are always reasonable, and the food is well worth any wait. Compared to other similar restaurants, Little Bengal consistently excels in terms of flavor, portion size, and menu variety. I have sampled a variety of dishes over the years and have never been disappointed. The samosas are crispy, the curries are all distinct and far from bland, the rice is perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the breads are consistently delicious. I highly recommend the stuffed paratha, although the naan breads are equally excellent. The chicken dishes are always generous and cooked to perfection. The chefs at Little Bengal are truly exceptional, in my opinion. Additionally, their kebabs are exceptional and stand out from those typically found locally alongside fish and chips. The kebab platters, which come with naan bread, salad, and chips, are a must-try. The quality and flavor are unmatched by other kebab establishments. While the prices are average for the area, the generous portion sizes and high quality make it worth every penny. I am grateful to Little Bengal for the countless delicious meals I have enjoyed over the years.

Food tasted amazing, fresh, pipping hot and delicious. The stir fry donner is a must and the dhansank. Nan was really nice and soft. Highly recommend trying them out You won't be disappointed.

I have tried countless curries in Birmingham, but without a doubt, the best curry I have ever had was at Little Bengal last night. My whole family was extremely impressed by the high quality, generous portion of meat in each curry, and the amazing taste and flavor that surpassed all others. We were also very impressed by the exceptional service. I will not be going anywhere else for curry from now on.

When I first received my order in my hotel room, I was taken aback by how much food there was. However, I ended up eating it every evening. I particularly enjoyed the dhansak and peshwari naan, along with a generous portion of bombaykartoffeln (which unfortunately paled in comparison to the delicious dhansak) and a tasty serving of wobelbhaji. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a great takeout option.
