Bidrage med feedbackTonight I purchased a sandwich at T1, Mumbai Airport and while making payment one of staff (Wearing Glass). She is weirdly laughing at me. Your staff served me poor Treatment.
Decent food at very keen prices. Fry ups and specials for lunch all good standard cafe fill you up stuff. Very reasonable prices.
Lovely little cafe, very friendly service. Light cafe menu, soup and jackets and sandwiches. Closes at 3:0
This little cafe is situated on the Rubery High Street (147 New Road). you can 't really miss it due to its exterior orange livery. And on warm sunny days you can expect to find 1 or 2 tables and chairs outside too! A typical greasy spoon some would call it, and typically that 's more or less what you get. The interior has vinyl flooring, and the skinny tables and chairs you would normally find in a cafe that serves basic breakfast orientated foods. There 's about 10 tables all told, all of them numbered, and having the usual salt, pepper and sauces. Being a fairly frequent patron I have only ever come across a table that hadn 't been cleaned properly; and generally there 's never been an instance where dirty plates and cups have been left to stand for the duration of our visit. It 's not particularly warm during cold winter visits; but by contrast can be a bit overbearing during hot summer days. But there are wall mounted coat hooks available should you need them. The menu is a bit basic and contains all the usual favourites various sandwich combos: bacon, eggs, sausage, tomatoes etc. Or you could have a Full English of various sizes, with toast and a mug of coffee/tea. There is a chalkboard on one of the walls that sometimes has specials on it, or just follows whatever is popular from the paper menus. I went for just a bacon sandwich on white crusty; while my partner went for small Full English. We also ordered two mugs of tea. The ladies behind the counter for very pleasant and cheerful. I saw three all told for this particular review. Sometimes there can be four, sometimes just the two, depending on the time of day I guess. But they all help to serve, cook and clean, and they do a pretty good job. My sandwich arrived after about 10 minutes. And surprisingly it looked really quite appetising, especially on fresh thick white bread! A dab or two of Daddy 's Brown sauce really topped it off! The bacon was just cooked enough crispy but not done to death; not much fat or rind either, And certainly not rubbery either. My partner 's Full English arrived with one of everything, along with beans, tomatoes, mushrooms and a hash brown, along with two rounds of toast. Everything looked fine, although she did say the sausage probably could have done with another couple of minutes in the pan. But other than that it was really quite nice given the price and the kind of cafe to expect! The mugs of tea were sufficient; and the mugs had been cleaned beforehand. There is a toilet facility for paying customer; but I don 't think there 's free wifi. For this review the cafe was getting busy for 8am on a Friday. They do takeouts as well (people can phone or call in to place a delivery and collect a little later) I have been here quite a few times over the last couple of years, and my expectations have always been met, especially for the price. I haven 't really had a bad experience, although sometimes they can go overboard with the grease. At time of writing their website is no longer online; and I believe it has had one or two management changes over the years. Nice friendly place, best visited during warm spring and summer months.
Am often in Cafelicious friendly staff good food and nice atmosphere. Always a delight. Highly recommended.
