Bidrage med feedbackI went to this restaurant for my sister-in-law's birthday on a Monday night, so it was not too busy which was perfect because we had our 1-year-old with us. There were 7 of us who had the buffet and the total bill was less than £200, which was excellent value for money. The starters were all delicious, as they brought us a variety of options and allowed us to ask for more of whatever we liked. Our nieces particularly enjoyed the satay chicken. The salt and pepper prawns and prawn toast were also very tasty. We skipped the soup course and went straight to the duck wraps and lamb wraps, which were delicious. We were pretty full by then, but managed to try some lemon chicken, beef with mushrooms, and chow mein, all of which were cooked perfectly. The staff, especially Mira, were very friendly. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back soon.
The service at this restaurant was excellent, and the takeaway food was delicious and delivered quickly. It tasted just as good as dining in, and I would definitely recommend it. Two thumbs up from me!
I had high expectations after reading some positive reviews, but my experience at this restaurant left me disappointed. The chicken in bean sauce was dry and covered in an overly sweet sauce that tasted more like a dessert. The noodles were drenched in oil, making them almost inedible. The spring rolls were small and lacked flavor. The portions were average for the price. The highlight of the meal was the complimentary plate of fresh fruit, but it's not something I would go to a restaurant for. I hope the owner takes this feedback into consideration and works on improving the quality of their dishes, especially since it's the closest Chinese restaurant to me.
Very disappointed with our takeaway tonight. Ordered and dealt with very politely. Had a rough idea of price and was shocked to be charged way over the amount I calculated. Then worked out, new owners and prices up- and how! Portions much smaller. Mixed Hors D’Oeuvres £12 for only 4 small items. £4 for a bowl of chicken noodle soup. Very little meat in meat dishes, see picture below of what was meant to be Duck Chow Mein- lots of rice( still looking for noodles) hardly any duck- not even sure it was duck. I could go on but I think you get the picture. It has been our favourite for years but will now have to look elsewhere.
Ordered takeaway, first time in a while and very excited! As we unpacked the food, for the first time ever, we queried the contents, and the portion size. We then took a bite, and instantly felt underwhelmed at the taste, again for the first time. The meat ratio was down, and it was overall pretty disappointing. We wondered whether the ownership had changed. Sure enough, when coming her to read reviews, it has. Such a huge shame. Feel that this is now off of our list.
