Bidrage med feedbackI have been visiting The Norfolk Broads for many years and recently tried out this community-owned pub. It is a little hidden gem with friendly staff and is also dog-friendly. Although I only had a drink during my visit, the food being served looked excellent. I will definitely be returning in the future.
The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. The food is also very good.
A beautifully located pub in an outstanding location, tucked away in a leafy Norfolk village right at the start of the Norfolk broads, community owned and operated a lovely local gem. 2 minutes walk from here is the Upton Pond teeming with carp, and other little fish, take the kids to feed them, pop into the local community owned shop and then head to the broads for beautiful walks.
Have been visiting this pub since 2012 . Decided to have a meal today spent £16.75 for fish of the day. Unfortunately the quality of the food was not upto the standard this pub built its reputation on. Fish was soggy as were the chips and no salad. I know costs have gone up if you lose the quality you lose the reputation and that leads to loss of trade. A shame as is my favourite pub in the area.sorry for negative review but if you don't know you can't fix it.
1st time back for quite a while as the menu which was changed before Christmas 23 was not lunch friendly. It has slightly improved but, where are baguettes, jacket potatoes, the humble sandwich? The menu is fantastic for an evening meal but NOT for lunch if you want something light.
