This restaurant is helping to support the garden center, but their future may be at risk unless they enhance the quality of their food. We ordered a bacon roll and a sausage roll, but the sausage arrived in a sandwich inexplicably. Both meals were served cold, indicating that the fillings were not cooked fresh to order, but rather pre-prepared and left to the side. It is possible that it would have been hot if freshly prepared. We recommend providing additional training to your kitchen staff to improve the quality of their food.

I had lunch at this restaurant with a main meal and a "free" dessert offer. Unfortunately, neither of the desserts were gluten-free, so I asked if I could have a gluten-free option instead. The manager informed me that I could, but I would need to pay for it. I settled for a flapjack, but was then told I couldn't have that either. When I asked for a discount since I couldn't have the "free" dessert, I was refused again. The main meals were served cold and in small portions. The waitress even warned us about the plates being hot, but they were actually cold. It's a pity that the manager was unwilling to accommodate dietary restrictions or provide good customer service. I will not be returning and have warned others to avoid this restaurant at all costs.

I was reluctant to have lunch here but took a chance on the Sunday carvery. it was actually better than I had expected having being previously disappointed by the food here. The roast turkey, roast potatoes and vegetables were ok, it's just the dated decor and uninspiring location that let it down.

TGC has always been good if a bit on the expensive side. I cannot butr notice the number of retail outlets, shops and franchises are increasing. Fair enough if the owners can drive revenues up -just a shame they do not keep plant prices reasonable as a consequence!

Popped in for Xmas shopping and decided to have coffee and breakfast, the wonderful lady who was serving was so polite and friendly, a older lady who reminded me of Mrs Claus type was just lovely, made me feel do welcome and wanted even when I was on my own and the cafe was very full and manic, ANAZING service
