Usumoya - Broad Channel

Ugh. Claimed to be open, placed an order then they're actually closed. They stiffed me out of dinner and stiffed the delivery person out of a tip. They had one job. This isn't the first time with them, but it's now the last.

This is by far the best omakase sushi I have ever had. My husband and I have eaten sushi all over the city, and never had such a warm and welcoming experience. Since it is small and intimate, the tasting experience is further enhanced. All the fish used is sustainable and very very fresh. The chef is creative with his preparation and makes each fish into such a delicious treat. You have to try this place. Only 2 seatings per night when indoor dining reopen. The take away is reasonably priced for the current Covid time. Best dish is chirash bowl.

I had a wonderful time here. We went on a Sunday 8pm for omakase for 4 ppl. It was the last day before indoor dining closes, so we wanted to go somewhere special and private. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was amazing. They were so welcoming and friendly, it made our omakase experience top notch. We are looking forward to going back here when indoor dining opens again! Definitely highly recommend for delicious food and amazing staff.

This is the best Omakase I have ever tried in my life, So fresh fishes like they just catch it yesterday. Nicely staff. The way they prepare fishes made it worth it.I have to go back for sure.
