Lezzet Mediterranean Turkish

Hands down the worst Turkish food we've ever eaten. My husband and I love Turkish food we've been to Istanbul multiple times, and order regularly from a different spot on the UES. Prior to ordering, I called the restaurant, and asked if the chicken in the Sultans Delight hunkar beğendı was chicken breast/white meat. The gentleman on the phone responded that it was, and it was chicken shish kebab . Unfortunately, the repulsive mass of DARK meat ROTISSERIE !!! chicken that I received proved otherwise. Additionally, my husband's Doner Kebab was tasteless, the zucchini pancakes were soggy and equally bland, and the Lentil Soup was also disappointing. So to sum it up, we were lied to about the chicken I never would have ordered, had I been told it was dark meat , and the remaining dishes were tasteless and soggy. We will never be ordering from Lezzet again.

Their fried liver is delicious. Broiled branzino and the Turkish style eggplant are excellent. We have been ordering every week

The rice pudding is absolutely amazing! The lamb shank is incredibly juicy and packed with flavor, while the cold appetizer platter offers a fantastic variety of dips. I suggest ordering three extra servings of bread (three pieces each) to ensure you have enough to enjoy with all the dips.

The food is consistently incredibly fresh. There are no soggy salads, and the manti is exactly as it should be. This is definitely the place I turn to when I’m longing for Istanbul. Please continue to uphold your high standards!

Wow, everything was fantastic! The rice had a wonderful texture, and the Adana kebab was absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were great as well. I will definitely be ordering again!
