Il Punto - Broad Channel

I ordered a Dirty Martini and the bartender did not ask what type of vodka I wanted and proceeded to make it with New Amsterdam. When I asked that he make it with Tito's instead, he was quite cordial and said of course. When I got the bill, there was a $2.00 up charge for Tito's. I mean if you're going to charge the going rate of $17 for a martini, do you really need to be petty? I was surprised at the tackiness of that move as everything else was pretty cool.

Food was very good. I'm picky about Italian food as I am Italian. Quality ingredients and traditional Italian flavor. Nice job. Good service. Recommend if you want basic good traditional Italian

Different price on the website, at the restaurant the prices are higher. The server offered complimentary limoncello to the customer close to our table, but not to us. It seems like they give different treatment based on the customer

What a hidden GEM!Great food, great service. Lovely dining area. Very intimate setting.We got the calamari and carpaccio to share and both were delicious.I ordered the Cavatelli with eggplant and my friend got the chicken Parm. Each dish was better than the last. I will be back, whenever I'm in town.Back again one year later I've been thinking about the Cavatelli alla Norma- it was more delicious than I remember. Orecchiette with sausage was also divine.This year, I came with my friends and seven month old. The manager was more than accommodating and friendly, kind. Great service again. I'll be back here again and again.
