The Green Fig is a casual restaurant that is in the fourth floor of the Yotel hotel on 10th Avenue between 42 and 41st street. When we first began going there for dinner, they had exceptional middle eastern foods and when we recently returned, while the staff is still loving and warm, the menu has changed and it had lost some of its charm. Updated: food was extremely overpriced considering the quality. So I guess they booked their dining room for a private event, but they didn’t make that known at all when I made my reservation. So when we got there they sat us in this real weird section of a bar that had coffee tables and fake turf grass. Not an ideal dinner situation. We had our wedding reception here in June 2018. It went great.
