WOW I dont know what they put in their blondies but they are so delicious — the best blondies I ever had. Very addicting. Their coffee is also very good. Cute outdoor seating and options for savory food as well.

Der Pioneer never disappoints, everything about it is superlative! Everyone there is super professional, prompt, kind, and in my opinion they have the most delicious pastries and desserts in the entire NYC. Thank you for adding so much to my life as well as to my out-of-town friends' life — this is the first place I take them to when I want to show off our neighborhood!

Best cafe in the neighborhood by far, and there isn't a contest. The pastries are excellent, a true reflection of the quality of European bakery/Konditorei/viennoiserie melded to an American style coffee shop. Everyone friendly and it's a cozy space to hang out, schmooze, read, or do some light work during the week. Can get quite busy on the weekends, so no free real estate then, but it's a comfortable neighborhood gem.
