Very interesting take on soul food. The dishes were tasty. Definitely pricey for vegan food though.

Y’all do yourself a favor and don’t eat here!! There’s so many other vegan spots that actually provide top customer service. I was so disappointed because I was recommended to this spot and planned around it so I could try the food. The food was great but it was ruined by the customer service. I work in customer service and would NEVER treat my guests like this. I don’t know if everyone there was having a bad day, but y’all need to do way better. Such a let down UGH. I will never recommend this place or come back here again!!

Despite everything being derived from plants, the food here is remarkably tasty— although perhaps too often crispified with hot oils, a most clever method of taking a lackluster carrot to flavor

As someone who refused to eat vegan food until I was brought here, I say run, don’t walk because this food is BOMB. The jambalaya balls were immaculate. The Mac and cheese was good too. And the CORNBREAD. JUST GEAUX. Food is definitely small plates though so order up.

That was such a delight. I saw the restaurant reviewed I think on localish and I was eager to go. I enjoyed the service pleasant, funny, attentive, interactive. Oh and a sense of humor. The cocktails were fun and inventive. The only comment I have is not everyone likes incense. It interfered with the sensuality of the food and the cocktails.
