What happened to this place? It used to be a restaurant. It used to have a cozy ambiance where you could go inside and order lovely food and hear Johnny Cash on the speakers. There used to be real plates and glasses and service. Now it’s just a takeout place with plastic sneeze guards where the bar used to be. I heard about this spot from employees at Origins NYC. They always order great food so I figured I would try it out. They have no indoor seating but seating for 8 people out front. The menu is simple. They have sauces that you have to pay.50 cents extra for. They are most known for their chicken sandwich. I ordered Spicy chicken sandwich, lemonade and Mac and cheese. I’m a big guy. I’m a big guy who knows good fried chicken. THIS is one of, if not THE, best fried chicken place I’ve been to since I’ve lived in the NYC area. The Buffalo sandwich is RIDICULOUS. Not too hot, perfect tang, and the chicken biscuit is the best I’ve ever had.
