Barn Joo Union Square - Broad Channel

I had only gone to the Barn Joo on 35th street before this meal, and now I think the Union Square location is superior. Upon entering the building, there’s an interesting nautical? themed decor, with a planked second floor and hammocks hanging from the ceiling. The music was loud and the ambiance was great. Dirty dishes. Overcooked, tough, and chewy seafood. Extremely overpriced. Staff was decent but not exceptional. Won’t be going back!

Amazing vegetarian bibimbap, spacious and good drinks. Make a reservation in advance and you get to spin a wheel for some potential discounts

Barn Joo never disappoints. Just good! I am a huge fan of Barn Joo Nomad and wanted to try this place too.. We got the Fisherman’s Noodle and the portion was good for two. However I need to note that we already had an appetizer elsewhere. We just arrived for the last call.. but will be coming back for the BBQ..

Excellent food and great drinks. If you don't like loud music while eating, I recommend reserving a table in the quiet area. Occasionally the service could have been more attentive but the amazing food definitely makes it worth a visit.
