Avanti's Pizzeria - Broad Channel

The chicken noodle soup here really feels like it came straight from a can of Progresso and was just poured into a plastic container, LOL. It looks, smells, and tastes exactly the same. I'm really let down!

I’ve tried to give this restaurant several chances because the food is tasty, but they consistently get my order wrong! My husband is lactose intolerant, and every time I order a meatball hero, it arrives with cheese! I've mentioned to the person on the phone at least ten times that it should be cheese-free, yet it still comes out incorrect. Don’t they understand that people with food allergies can become seriously ill if their meals aren’t prepared properly? Even though they do make a new hero for me each time, there are usually fewer meatballs than in the original order! There seems to be a significant disconnect between the staff taking orders and those in the kitchen. Unfortunately, this will be the last time I order from them.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, thanks to the quick and friendly service. I ordered a cheese calzone and a regular slice, both at an excellent price. The food was incredibly fresh, making it a perfect choice for a quick lunch break. To save even more time, I suggest calling ahead to place your order before you arrive.

The order took over an hour and a half to prepare, and DoorDash also experienced a significant delay.

The food was fresh and delicious, with ample portions of wings and mozzarella sticks that were perfectly seasoned.
