Taverna Athena - Brno

Delicious food and friendly staff. I never had tried Greek food, but it was such a good experience that made me try more. They don't speak well English, but it was sweet of them that they tried a lot to talk to us.

The food is worth 5 stars, but the blonde lady who works there is so unfriendly towards her customers, she's worth 0 stars. That's the only reason why this place can't get a better rating from me.

Had just chicken gyros to go. The meat seemed quite raw to me, but I got through it. Then I found some small blue thing on one piece of meat, which clearly wasn’t supposed to be there. After that, the gyros unfortunately went straight to trash. Won’t return here again

Great food! Friendly staff! Looks busy with locals for taking, but does not bother the sit-down restaurant experience. The mixing plate for 2 is perfectly dimensioned and delicious.

Small Greek bistro offers very good food (with option to take away), plus you can buy imported items. Their homemade tzatziki are excellent. The owner is a good temperature-controlled, talkative gentleman.
