Well, my review could be a bit biased I was here last year and came again in April 2017. The memory of the black beer goulash haunted me the whole year and I just had to have it one more time. I was not disappointed, it tasted just as good as the first time : Whatever you do, you should probably not order a Caesar salad in a traditional Czech restaurant. My two female companions did exactly that and were a bit surprised by the egg on top of the plate (sunny side up . The atmosphere is great inside the cellar and if you are lucky (or unlucky, however you look at it there's a local band playing old Czech folk songs. Our dog complained a bit about the fiddler :D Don't think there are many locals in the place but who cares it's a nice experience.

Food is decent but lacks flavour. While everything is well priced, the place seems very basic and needs better ventilation so you do not carry the smell of food for the rest of the day. Stake tartare while served with a variety of add-ons was underwhelming in taste.

Lunch menu during the rush hour the soup (cabbage soup with potatoes and sausage) was without taste and bland, the main dish (chicken steak with undefinable sauce and couscous) was also bland, meat unseasoned, sauce was without taste, I have no idea, doesnt cooks taste the food they make before it leaves their kitchen? The service was fast, the soup and lemomade landed on our table even before asking for it, the main dish arrived also quite fast, however after we finished, we were ignored for 10 minutes, so we have decided it is easier to pay at the bar. At least the price was really cheap. I will not return again and I dont recommend the restaurant to anyone.

The hot wings were delicious, the beer was perfect. I recommend this place.
