Restaurant Rybarska Basta - Brnenec

I have to say that the food was excellent, I wasn't expecting it at all, but I'm still thinking about it (a week later). The seafood pasta was full of large mussels, shrimp, and other goodies, all swimming in a white wine sauce and it was luxurious. The beer wasn't great, but who can blame them, pairing Starobrno with seafood.

We often go to Rybí bašty in the summer, mainly for delicious food and excellent homemade lemonades. The prices are reasonable for Brno, the interior space is cozy, but there is no playground outside for children. The restaurant may not look very appealing from the outside, but inside it is well-maintained, clean, with friendly and fast service. In the summer, they offer a decent selection of fish and seafood. I highly recommend the homemade gnocchi with salmon and Caesar salad, I have never had better elsewhere, you will really enjoy it! Recommended!

My friend and I visited Rybářská bašta on a recommendation from friends and we were pleasantly surprised. I had the fish soup and a fillet of plaice with herb mashed potatoes, while my friend had the grundle as a starter (served with garlic mayonnaise) and grilled trout with garlic and herbs as the main course. It was clear that the fish was very fresh, and the trout fell apart beautifully, so we definitely recommend a visit. The service was very friendly and accommodating. However, there were a few things we would suggest improving. It wouldn't hurt to stylize the restaurant a bit more, especially since it is a fisherman's hut... it all felt a bit plain. We also expected the menu to be a bit more sophisticated, perhaps with some food photos, which would definitely make a better impression. The last thing that surprised us the most was that bread (baguette, toast) was not automatically served with the fish, and there was no option to choose bread as a side on the menu (although we were able to get it upon request without any problem). We are looking forward to our next visit.

Zmena interieru malicko prekvapila ale ne nemile. Ikdyz driv me to prislo utulnejsi. Vitecna ryby polevka davam si ji vzdy. Slavky na vine se zeleninkou super, jen by to ktomu chtelo bagetku na omacku. Candatek luxusni. Dobre vinko. Vzdy me tu velice chutnalo a rad se vracim.

V této restauraci jsme s manželem byli již dvakrát a vždy, pokud bychom se pohybovali v této lokalitě, jí znovu navštívíme. Já osobně jsem si jí zamilovala nejen pro velice dobré jídlo, ale i pro milou a ochotnou obsluhu a celý koncept, který se mi prostě líbí. Jídelní lístek není velký, ale vždy mají speciality dne a člověk si rozhodně vybere. Je znát, že tento podnik někdo provoyuje s láskou i když umístění neni nejsnažší. Naposledy jsme zrovna byli na večeři den po jejich španělském večeru a já si mohla ještě pochutnat na skvělých mušlích sv. Jakuba za směšnou cenu 85kč. Výběr vína jsem nechala na panu číšníkovy a bylo to správné rozhodnutí. Domů jsem si pak odnesla rovnou celou láhev. Bezvýhradně doporučuji.
