Bidrage med feedbackI met up with my daughter and daughter-in-law for a meal and gift exchange at this restaurant. The service provided by Kayleigh was outstanding. The food was delicious, but it was the exceptional service that truly made our evening special, even before the wine arrived! I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food prepared by chef Ben was delicious and the service provided by server Kieran was outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful lunch with my colleagues.
It took two hours to receive our main dish, which included only one roast potato. The dish contained a large amount of fat instead of meat and was swimming in gravy. The service was clearly lacking, with no apology or acknowledgement of the poor lunch experience. I would not recommend this restaurant for roast meals.
Ate here last night as part of a group of around thirty having the festive menu. The organiser was told that due to how early she had booked we 'd all get a welcome drink of sparkling on arrival. This was chapel down which is lovely and makes a great change from the usual prosecco. However around 10 of us upgraded to the extra special menu which at £15 extra each allowed to choose anything with no supplements and included a welcome drink glass of chapel down peroni followed by a cocktail to finish. When those of us that tried to get the welcome drink enquiried we were told we 'd had it and they tried to say they 'd given it to all of us as they didn 't know who had the extra special menu, after pointing out what was agreed we were highly reluctantly given two extra bottles of chapel down which was enough for 10 of us to have a glass. This suited me but not those that would of preferred peroni. The experience of this put a bit of a downer on the experience as if I 'd known it would of been difficult to get what we paid £15 extra for I 'd of skipped it as cocktails were 2 for £14 anyway which is a fairly decent deal. Had to ask for the cocktail at the end as well and this took over 20 minutes to arrive. These were really the only negatives of the night and it 's disappointing we had to argue for what we had already paid for. Back to the positives the food we had was very good particularltvconsidering the number of us in our group, the scallops were good and the steak was also pretty good, it 's a shame there was no salt pepper on the tables as the steak was not very well seasoned. Mince pie creme brulee to finish was good. One member of our groups meal was missed so she had to wait until after everyone else had finished to eat her main. If it wasn 't for the service I 'd if give this a 4 not a 3 but the service was a real disappointment.
We had some nice food here cooked by chef Adam, and great attentive service from our server Maia who helped us with the extensive gluten free menu
