Came for an event, enjoyed the upstairs for food and drinks and then downstairs was also great. Toilets need to be fixed and regularly serviced! Flooded every time we've been

Old building with loads of character. There was a band playing there when we visited. We popped in as it advertised real ales but there were none on sadly. The barman was hungover by his own admission . The tables and floor had spilt beer on them. The gents was out of order so the disabled loo was being used for a gents.

4 years ago we liked the place a lot, casc ales selection, nicely decorated and a lot of people. Now May 22 it is a dark empty place with some specific looking bartender and 2 pump handles one was cider... we didn't stay. very sad to see such a place in a such condition.

Very poor service!!! The drinks had clearly been watered down, my vodka was revolting !!! When taking the drink back the totally over dramatic bar man popped a straw in it and acted like it was the strongest drink ever
