The Bank Tavern - Bristol, City of

My wife and I are currently on holiday in Bristol, staying at the charming Berwick Lodge. Earlier today, we had lunch with two local friends at the Bank Tavern in the Old City. We decided to try the restaurant after hearing about the 3-year waiting list for their Sunday lunch. We were dropped off by Uber and quickly realized that the location was a bit hard to find. We ordered 4 Carrot Coconut Soups and 4 Venison Pies, which were all delicious. It's no wonder there's such high demand for their Sunday lunch. Overall, it was definitely worth the visit, and hopefully one day I'll have the chance to try their famous Sunday lunch.

This restaurant in Bristol is still my favorite for roast dinners! The flavors and service are unbeatable, and it's also great value for money. I'm happy I reserved a few tables a couple of years ago, but I'll be disappointed when they run out next year!

Spent per week afternoon on the bar and outside. excellent beer and the barman was obviously worried to ensure the quality of the beer. had bix bothbecke played on my handy outside for the builders, no complaining and everyone seemed to enjoy. recommended dizziness

After a year waiting list we were very impressed. The cost of the meal is so reasonable and a real bargain. Highly recommended
