Henbury Balti House - Bristol, City of

I visited this restaurant for the first time and was not disappointed. The food was prepared promptly, with a variety of delicious options. Everything was excellent. Thank you.

I have used the same Indian takeaway for years but it closed permanently so I have tried the henbury balti house looks like I will be using this one for the next years. EXCELLENT

Phoned and placed our order to collect. Was told hour but only had to wait mins in the restaurant to a very polite, well presented young man. Hubby had chicken tikka masala and commented ‘it’s the best he’s had’. I had lamb tikka...mirche garlic which was just as juicy as the tikka masala with an extra kick, very nice. Just one criticism, garlic nan bread was cold but my pashwari nan was warm, very tasty.

I very rarely come across an Indian where no matter what curry you order it always has great flavour. Your portion sizes are fantastic value, and you deliver to SB which is a very big bonus!! Everything we've ordered has always come hot and fresh....Lamb Tikka is Perfection, Curries- Perfection, Rice- Perfection, Naan Breads also Perfect!!! Can't wait to come in and have a sit down meal when you're back open!!

Had a takeaway delivered from here, by Just Eat, on New Years Day, and it was outstanding. One of the best curries I have eaten in a very long time. Good menu, not just the bog standard stuff, and the gravies of the dishes I...selected were amazing thick, rich, full of spices, and full of flavour. Side dishes and accompaniments were also excellent. Lamb and chicken were both proper, good sized pieces of meat, not like the sort of reformed pieces you get in some places, and they were tender and succulent. Naan bread could have been warmer, but not the end of the world. Thank you to all staff concerned, I have found myself a new favourite curry restaurant.
