Cook Out - Bristol

Sadly prices have gone up due to inflation, but the food is still pretty big portions for the prices, while not lacking in taste. Overall, service is quick, and cashiers kind. Never had a bad experience and I'm sure they'll keep it that way.

My son and me had many enjoyable meals here before the pandemic hit. It was fun to chose which milkshake to order and the staff was always nice and friendly. It was also clean and had a good atmosphere.

The food was enjoyable, but the cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired. The space felt cluttered, and the tables needed to be wiped down. Even the counter where you place your order was untouchable due to spilled food and liquids. I managed to take a couple of discreet photos to capture the situation. It was surprising to see that, despite not being too busy, they didn’t take the time to maintain the dining area. All the trash cans were overflowing!

This is undoubtedly the worst experience I've had at a fast food chain in a long time. They handed me a container that was so hot with grease that it melted the bottom and spilled all over my vehicle. They get my order wrong 75% of the time, and if you order a wrap, you'll just get old chicken strips and a tortilla! Whoever manages this Cookout should be ashamed.

It feels like a cookout, but without any of the hassle. The burgers are fantastic, and I really enjoy the chili on the hot dogs. They serve the THICKEST shakes around—be ready to use a spoon for the Oreo shake, or give it some time to melt because they’re amazing! My only complaint is that the fries are often not crispy enough; they tend to be too limp or sometimes even cold and soggy. Other than that, it’s one of my favorite spots for a quick and affordable meal.
