The Colosseum - Bristol

The atmosphere is beautiful, but they don't serve on Saturday afternoons. I believe this information should be mentioned somewhere.

We just made it in time for Sunday dinner and were lucky to find a table at this bustling pub, which was clearly very popular since many tables were already reserved. We were glad to snag one! For our meal, we had the option of a roast; my wife chose the beef, while I went with the pork. The food was excellent—well-cooked and full of flavor. We truly enjoyed our experience!

Overall, the best atmosphere in any pub in this area! I always feel welcome when I visit. The last time I was here, they weren't serving food because of COVID-19, but I'm glad they're back to normal now. I enjoyed a dry apple wine, which is refreshing since most people around here seem to prefer sweeter drinks. It's a real pleasure to see a selection of dry options. I definitely recommend this place and believe they deserve the recognition!
