North Lakes Sports Club - Brisbane

I have visited this restaurant a few times before and each time it was consistently average. Everything was usually in order - the food was good, the service was decent, etc. However, my recent experience was disappointing. After placing our food orders, our waitress completely ignored us. There was no refilling of water, no checking if we needed more drinks, no table cleaning, no dessert options offered, and no offer for coffee/tea. We were willing to order more, as were the others at the table, but we were not given the chance. The lack of attention, especially since the restaurant was not busy, made the experience quite unpleasant. If it had been a busy night, I would have been more understanding, but that was not the case.

Last night, my second time was there, and last time, it was excellent, so we decided to return. the service was great, but unfortunately let the food down. I ordered the balinese chicken breast. it was so dry that it was practically unusable. it came with bok choi and rice. the rice was crumbling and over boiled, how was the veg a sad lonely piece mushy bok choi). it was also cold and there was no soaking at all. if it hadn't been for the salt and the pfeffer on the table, it would not have been possible. I just ordered the wrong one because all the others on my table were very happy with their meal.

I visited the restaurant for the second time last night, as my previous experience was excellent. Unfortunately, this time the food did not live up to expectations. I ordered the Balinese chicken breast, which was extremely dry and nearly inedible. The dish was served with bok choy and rice, but the rice was overcooked and falling apart, while the bok choy was mushy. The dish was also cold and lacking in seasoning. Despite this disappointing experience, my dining companions all enjoyed their meals, so it seems I simply made the wrong choice.

We were willing to order more, but were not given the opportunity to do so. Given that this restaurant is usually great, the lack of attention was quite off-putting. It would have been more understandable if the restaurant was busy, but it was not busy at all.

The personal is wonderful and very friendly. eating is fresh and fast
