Mr Wongs Chinese Restaurant - Brisbane

Great local Chinese restaurant, good prices, meals are delicious, great pack options are available , we did takeaway but there is a pleasant dining in area

We have been dining at Mr Wongs over the years and sadly - on our last visit two weeks ago, we were very disappointed. The meals are very pricey and the quality is not there. Lots of thick gluggy lumps of thickening in the sauce - not happy. The surroundings are looking tired and unclean - our glassware was dirty. The ladies toilets were a total disgrace - and this was early - 5.30pm on a saturday night. Toilet seat broken, lid lying on on the floor - toilet bowl a disgrace, toilet paper and used paper towel all over the floor - quite unacceptable really. The only positive was the nice friendly waitress we had.Mr Wong needs to lift their game - we won't be back.

Ordering was simple, meal arrived promptly without any problems. Delivery charge is a bit expensive compared to others. Quality of food was tasty but lacking ingredients, combination usually means a variety of ingredients, they seemed to be lacking in the omelette. Overall it was still tasty. Would I use again... Probably not.

Ordered takeaway on Menulog - simple, no fuss, received a txt message within 2 mins confirming our order, and delivery was 1 hour later at peak time.The food was amazing - BBQ pork was great quality tender meat you don't usually find these days, the Szichuan Beef was just amazing, will be ordering again when back in Brisbane for sure! :)
