La Vue Waterfront Restaurant - Brisbane

I would not have chosen to come here normally after reviewing the menu, however as work was paying, it was not a major problem. Chose the $29 prawn Mornay entree and $75 fillet steak on a bone, and $10 fries side. Out comes the prawns with two prawns. Then the steak with cold veges, and shoestring fries. Food was average and expensive.

Booked La Vue for a belated Birthday dinner. From the info on their website it seemed to be in a good position and was close to where we were staying. Wow were we impressed. From the moment we arrived the experience was something we hadn't experienced for a long time; the wait staff were attentive and efficient and Ronaldo was the epitome of mine host. Just when we thought everything was perfect the food arrived and we were transported to another level. The Scallop entrée was very flavoursome and the Duck and the Veal main course was delicious as was the dessert. Everything was so,so good that we booked for the following night. If we could find a restaurant like La Vue in Sydney we would be visiting on a regular basis.

Fantastic food and location. Service is also great. Best choice for folks in Brisbane city. We have visited many times and always blown away.

From start to finish we had a beautiful evening at La Vue. The staff were proficient , professional friendly. The food was amazing we couldn’t resist having 3 courses with every one amazing. The view the decor were perfect, such finesse , right down to the white table cloth fresh roses. We had a wonderful evening .. thank you .

Had a small and cosy wedding Reception. Looked after very well by lovely friendly staff. Food was superb, and wine was very fine! Enjoyed the night so much and thanks to Reynaldo and the staff!!
