Kimono Sushi - Brisbane

Had takeaway lunch here. Everything is $3.50! I ordered spicy chicken- it was so good! Little bit sweet but quite spicy- it would go really well with a salad, some rice or both. Definite bang for buck. The seared salmon was also so delicious. New work snack for sure- it was my favourite for sure. I was expecting the rice paper roll to have vermicelli so was a little surprised it contained warm rice- it wasn't bad though- just unexpected and probably a really normal thing. It was an average sushi train fit out with really nice, welcoming service. Would I go back? Uh yeah

Fresh sushi and amazing side dishes, the spiced glazed chicken thing was top notch!! Any prawn lovers will be happy here with the abundance of prawn dishes. Prawn gyoza were pretty great too. With everything at $3.50 it's so cheap!

If samurai were still be around today, this joint would be a dishonour to Sushido. Biting into the first order of salmon nigiri saw the rice crumble to pieces back onto the plate, with the warm salmon swiftly disposed of when I realised it had been sitting on the train for -that- long. I also don't recall ordering my katsu chicken roll to come with free eyelash droppings. Avoid. These guys are probably better off making Kimonos than running a sushi joint.

I've been here several times now. The staff is always welcoming and the service is fast. The prices are good and the food sightly better than average. Order off the menu to ensure you get the freshest possible sushi and sashimi.

Better than average sushi train, probably because of all the nice tasty  fried sides such as crab balls, gyoza, spring rolls etc. These went down nice with a cold beer. Didn't get around to sampling the rest of the menu but service fast.
