Hops Scotch & Beans - Brisbane

If you have super small tables, you need flatware to match! Food was plentiful and tasty ...served on a tiny table in an old house which was a bit dark and rabbit warren-ish, might be retro trendy for some, I guess. Like the name of the restaurant but cannot remember it for quids! Parking is diabollically difficult, ask about it when you book or just walk from Roma street.

First time at this cafe, we ordered breakfast and my daughters milkshake was lukewarm we asked for another no apologies from aloof staff member, milkshakes should be nice and cold! I didn't think it was an unreasonable request. We had almost finished breakfast when my friends coffee arrived and told sorry about the wait we had lots of takeaway coffees.I work in a cafe so I am empathetic to staff but this experience was very disappointing

Great food, great service. Loved the new menu! Easy street parking too. Highly recommend for breakfast or brunch.

Had heard good things about this cafe, so decided to drop in. The girl taking my order was so rude, while I waited for my coffee - 20mins!!! I witnessed someone in line to be served ignored for the person behind him who was obviously a friend of one of the people from the kitchen. I ordered 2 coffees and hey couldn't come out at the same time for some reason and after waiting for second coffee and having to go ask about it. Thy had forgot!!! There was no apology and the coffee wasn't that good. The place wasn't even that busy as an excuse for the service to be so poor

We were after simple. It was perfect. I think it was a special night I got a beer and deconstructed pie she got a beer and buffalo wings. Great meal easy going
