Chips were oily and strongly boiled. Girls behind the counter are more interested in writing their friends than to serve customers.

Good fresh fish and chips. they also make a selection of burgers. A pity that they have no flocks and occasionally their chips are so.

Been going here for years, the service is always just ‘ok’ but they are younger staff. Never had an issue returning food if I ever had an issue. They are reasonably priced and I honestly don’t understand people complaining about the serving size, you get good portions for what you pay. The only reason I’m giving it a 3 is because of the chips and the inconsistency. The chips are ALWAYS soft, I ask for ‘extra crispy’ as directed by the fry cook but they still come out soft, just tasting burnt ! They lack taste and feel old, they need a new supplier or a new method. And whenever ordering something else fried it’s iffy on whether or not it’s burnt or too soft, it’s never just how you’d want it, except the scallops, best around, gravy is awesome, burgers are ok and the fish I haven’t tried because I just don’t trust it based off the heat of that little corner

The food here is usually really good but tonight’s food was very poor quality. Chips were sad looking and didn’t taste very nice, the fish wasn’t great, neither was the burger or Dagwood dog. Asked for 6 potato scallops and only received 3. Was very disappointed.

Bought $5 worth of chips…. Doesn’t look like it, it looks like $2:50 worth and it’s warm-ish and we waited for a while just for chips
