Bidrage med feedbackBurger Urge Chermside certainly has 'got it going on' when it comes to attention seeking. Wednesday night quiz's, meal deals for the gym heads (advertised right outside the Goodlife gym) and a former ship container housed with a baby chair - and that's before we even get to the menu! Mrs Clintons, the Donald Trump and Frying Nemo aside, Burger Urge had previously wowed me with their New Yorker (**) at DFO and Airport stores, but there's no such magic on this occasion. Great service from the get go, but with no offer of a wholemeal or gluten free bap, it's more likely that they sold out or ran out, but a polite 'let know' wouldn't hurt. The usual selection of delicious fillings and sauces fill the burger, but sadly, the beef patty is dry (with the vibe it had been sitting a while) and, more concerning, tasteless. Really poor. The fact is Burger Urge continue to change their beef patties time and time again and on this evidence, taste wise, it's just not happening. They have the ability to take on the best with their beef burgers, but until they find the right supplier they are always going to get outdone by Grill'd. Although this effort was really concerning, and I can only hope management take this on board for the benefit of business and customers. Luckily, that's the bad news over and it's a rave review from here on. Burger Urge's $13 Buffalo Wings (*****) are saucy, big and delicious, with either spicy or Hickory BBQ options. Great with a bit of special sauce ($1 extra), too. The Pineapple Express (*****) Is an absolute stunner - a high street burger beauty if ever there was one. Lovingly loaded with delicious free range chicken, chipotle mayo (superb), the usual lettuce, tomato, red onion, a small pineapple and cheese that lends itself perfectly, I will be back for one of these babies another time... all aboard! So, it's a fairly easily one where the Sweet Potato Fries (*****) are concerned - $7 gets you a large one, and the more the merrier. Crunchy yumminess on the outside, sweet potato goodness on the inside. For me, better than Grill'd and alongside Caffe Cherry Beans, the best I've tasted in the business. Finally, service was quick and of a high standard, with tonnes of serviettes, although no water dispensers are located throughout the store. Upon request, the water brought was chillingly delicious. They would also benefit from wet wipes as the burgers can get messy.

Amazing 'Merican burgers. One of my favourite restaurants. Scrumptious succulent patties, great shakes and bad-ass fries. If you're a yank missing home then come here!
The decor and friendly staff give this place a great vibe. The burgers were nice, but nothing to write home about. In my opinion, Grill'd do it better, sorry.
Super friendly staff, and great food! Had a party for a younger siblings 12th birthday and Burger Urge sure made each hungry guest feel full and happy.
