I just popped in for a quick lunchHad a simple calamari and chipsSalad lunch special and for an upgrade of 40 cents I received a soda and limeIt was quick, the meal was very good and the service also came with a smile and it was goodSo all round good honest food and service at a great price

Great service, not long wait on food. Steak sandwich was PERFECTION. Loved the panko crumbed snitz. Only let down- the dianne sauce was far too overwhelming with the wosterchire (not spelt correctly) sauce. All in all great value for money. Please fix the sauce!!!!

We visited the Aspley Tavern on the recommendation of a friend and we were pleasantly surprised. We had a doz. oysters kilpatrick to share and they were amazing! lovely and plump, great kilpatrick sauce - could not fault it - only sad thing was we should have got one doz EACH. Eye fillet was beautiful as was the rib fillet my husband had. Mushroom sauce - yummy - and the hand cut chips and green beans were very nice. Also had a salad of rocket, pear and shaved parmesan. We were very happy with the friendly service and the quality of the food. I had tiramisu for dessert - it was nice, was supposed to be served with cream and ice cream.... I am not sure where the cream was - I think a swirl of whipped cream would have complimented the tiramisu very nicely. Meals were presented well. Happy to return.

Had lunch at Ashley Tavern today, chose to have the lunch menu, $14.50 a beer or orange juice. My husband and I had seafood linguine, very nicely cooked,very nicely presented, the wait staff very friendly and helpful, all in all a very nice lunch for $29 for two people. Will revisit.

To celebrate last night of family Christmas we trued this place as its walking distance to daughters new home.in a busy area we werent sure what it would be like and on entry we were pleasantly surprised at classy and clean decor and ambience we were greeted cheerly and made welcome. We had two toddlers and a double pram and this was no problem. Two of the family are coeliac and the kitchen happily accommodated their needs discussing the children's menu options and adapting. Three of us had the eye fillet steak and it was just perfect. Very tasty, tender and moist. We will be back.
