Bidrage med feedbackThis place is so nice, it serves varieties of dessert. We tried bingsoo and honeybread combo which costs $25 for both of the desserts. Greentea bingsoo and choc honeybread (ypu can choose whether dark or milk choc). We chose dark choc, of course. Overall, I liked their desserts since both werent too sweet. Dark choc was just a perfect choice to combine with the honeybread (which was also good). Greentea ice cream was tasty. They served a big portion which is enough to share with your friend.
I could say this is my all time favourite dessert cafe I've ever been to! I love it here -can't really fault it. I don't have anything negative to say except that the desserts might be too sweet for some people. Other than that, I love the food, love the drinks, love the environment/interior, love how spacious it is and it smells amazing inside. The staff are great too. Before I moved to Brisbane, I used to come here every time I went to the city because I knew I'd be missing it when I'm not there. I used to get the honeybread and iced chocolate every time as they were my favourites. Now that I live in Brisbane I've been able to visit more often and try more sweets there. It has never let me down! I love coming here. My boyfriend says that many of the desserts are overly and sickly sweet, but I don't really agree with that, although I am a sweet tooth I think the smores range is too sickly sweet for me. Everything else is perfectly sweet for my taste! ????
The ambience is good, and they have a great range of desserts. They were having a 1 for 1 deal on waffles so we got 2. The waffles were good but I wouldn't pay full price for them as the servings are pretty small. The taro bingsu was filled with large chunks of ice instead of finely shaved ice that some other bingsu places do. The taro ice cream was really good though. It's a reliable option for dessert, but I doubt I'd come here for their bingsus again.
Banana Crunch Waffles are amazing and so are their bingsu, lovely place to study and have a sweet dessert! Cannot fault their speedy service and great food!
Popped into Passion Tree yesterday to grab some surprise dessert for date night on the couch with Husband. He loves anything banana so I went with a slice of the Banana Cake for him. He was a pretty happy chap when I presented him with this and even allowed me to try a mouthful before he completely demolished it. A lovely moist cake but I didn't notice any banana flavour at all. I loved the beautiful Swiss meringue buttercream though. I'm a massive chocoholic so I couldn't go past the Coco Noir for myself. Divine! The shine on the dark chocolate glaze, the silkiness of the milk chocolate mousse, the espresso and chocolate gel centre - every last bit of this dessert was delicious! As it was a very rich dessert, I resolved to only eat half last night. My self control has paid off as I now have the remainder to finish tonight ???? Thanks Passiontree!
