Bidrage med feedbackSo after many months of subtle (as sledgehammer) hints from Mrs Kan Do, I finally picked up six bagels from the Bagel Boys Bagel Bar (sucking me in again with all that alliteration). I picked up the rye with sunflower seeds, the garlic and parmesan, the poppy seed, the sesame seed, the blueberry and the everything bagels. We had the bagels toasted over a few breakfasts, mostly with cream cheese and smoked salmon, (bagel boy bagel bar bagels, cream cheese and smoked salmon - it's all happening here). Overall Mrs Kan Do felt the bagels were more bready and less dense than the ones she used to get in the US, but that they were still quite good in terms of flavour. The better ones we felt were the rye and sunflower, garlic and parmesan and the everything bagels. The blueberry one was probably the only one that wasn't so good.
Always satisfying! I love the locations on Creek Street and Turbot Street best (most generous with fillings). Friendly service and constant with the presentation and delivery of your order. Super tasty fresh ingredients, haven’t been let down yet!
Walked past here on my way into our office from the hotel and I love a good bagel so decided to stop by. This is located on Adelaide Street. They had a steady flow of customers ordering their breakfasts. You can choose to just get a plain bagel or order a filled bagel. They have a wide range of flavours. The service here is nice. I went with an Onion Bagel With Plain Cream Cheese And Crispy Bacon. The bagel was great and they were generous with cream cheese. The bacon was nice and crispy. I enjoyed my breakfast a lot.
We always have these bagels on hand at home & today I replenished the stock with: ▪️Poppyseed ▪️Onion ▪️Garlic & parmesan ▪️Everything All the bagels are sooooo good but after much sampling this is our ultimate shortlist. Bakers dozen for $20. ???????? Props to the affable staff who are cool even when super busy & even when dolts like me drop the wares on the floor (dammit whoops sorry - NB the 5 second rule does NOT apply here!). I tend to pop in at odd times so haven't tried the menu offerings unfortch - solely due to time constraints. Must rectify this! [PS: Most unpopular employee right now - the smell of warm fresh bagels all day has driven everyone batshit crazy! Hahaha suck it!]
Visiting from Melbourne. Got a takeaway bagel ($4.50 for a poppyseed bagel with cream cheese) from the Bagel Boys stall at the Wednesday market. Yum! Up there with one of the best bagels I've had. And they give you SO much cream cheese! I don't think I've ever had such a good serving of cream cheese on a bagel. Really tasty.
