Al Parco - BRINDISI

I visited alone on Sunday evening, my son being treated in the nearby hospital. I tried mixed anti pasta (after complimentary olives and taralli) which consisted of fried potatoes and two kinds of croquettes I have to say they were very tasty. Then a pizza it was perfect, the best I have tried after a month in Southern Italy. They cook the pizzas in a wood burning oven and you can tell the ingredients are top quality and really fresh. Incredible value a Margherita for €4. The house wine is very good and only €2.50 for 0.5 litre. The team who run this place are incredibly friendly, and it makes a truly unforgettable experience. The owner even gave me a lift back to the hospital when I asked what number bus to get how incredibly hospitable! If you visit Brindisi you have to visit Al Parco it is only 2 km from the centre it is worth the drive (parking is easy as it is in a quiet residential area) or get a bus. Located outside of the city- in a dodgy generally poor neighborhood. Minuscule building did not appear to have outdoor seating nor would I want that except to keep an eye on my car.

If you're in the area or even if you aren't. You should definitely stop by here. Myself and my partner have just had two amazing pizza's, a couple of fantastic espressos, served by really lovely staff. To top it off the prices are extremely reasonable too : I can't recommend it enough. Hopefully we'll make it back before we leave. Thank you, grazie.

Simply great! We were a bit hungry when we got there and we thought we should get starters before pizza but the dishes were huge and we could barley finish the starters (which were great) I’m so sorry we couldn’t try the pizza. Great staff, huge and amazing dishes!

Friendly atmosphere and the pizza is fantastic. We ate a margherita pizza which was heavenly, full of mozzarella with a delicious tomato sauce, cooked in a wood fire oven. Franco, the owner, is superb : Would highly recommend........Carlo and Emma
