The best pie I have ever eaten! I love their cheese pie and fresh cream donut! They also make delicious sandwiches and sausage rolls. The staff is very attentive and friendly.

Even when I was tipsy, the staff at this bakery were kind and accommodating. The pies here are absolutely delicious, so when I had a craving for some pie while under the influence, I headed over there. Despite my attempts to act sober, they treated me with respect and didn't mention anything about my condition when I returned with my brother, who is a regular customer. The cottage and potato top pies are outstanding, but their iced biscuits and vanilla slices are also noteworthy.

Saturday afternoon in Sandagate, with coffee and snack. The town hall Bakery is located in the historical part of Sandgate, surrounded by the early 20th and probably late 19th. Century building. The tables on the walk have an excellent view of the old...Town Hall and Remembrance Park as well as many other buildings of interest and character. The Bakery /Cafe is small but welcoming, The selection of cakes and pastries is excellent, the service comes with a great smile and much consideration for the customer. I chose a sausage roll and my wife a pastry, both were of excellent quality. As something from a connoiseur of cakes, sausage rolls etc., for some decades, I guess the sausage rolls as A1 quality. Coffee was okay, but you need some work. If I were a local, that would be my local snack stop. I just need to fall in when you come by.

Good place for a quick lunch or morning/afternoon tea. Small number of tables on the footpath. Very casual attitude. Beautiful old style cake apple slice, fruit slice, apple sales etc. Visitors to the area can watch the beautiful town hall, the memorial park, the beautiful ex-post office and then enjoy a tea or coffee and snack at the town hall Bakery.
