Eating was okay, the staff is very friendly, but when we ordered this dessert, each cream was off and rough

I recently stayed at a hotel in Brighton with my family. The rooms were pretty and tidy, well-presented, and affordable. The only issue was some unusual cracks in the wash basin. Unfortunately, there was limited cookware in the rooms for guests to prepare their own meals. It would be helpful if the hotel had a designated area for guests to cook if they cannot afford to eat in the restaurant. The pub and food service in the restaurant were good, but some dishes were hit and miss. For example, a hard bun was served with a salad instead of chicken breast or thigh. The staff seemed hesitant to collect feedback, possibly to avoid complaints. Overall, the hotel was not terrible but could improve. Addressing issues with the kitchen staff and enhancing the taste and presentation of meals could significantly enhance the guest experience. Additionally, providing a kitchen area for guests would be beneficial.

We were recommended to dine at Lythgo's Row Cottages by the owners, located on the same street. This older hotel offers delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. The service and dining experience were both excellent. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Pontville.

My wife, I and a friend all had the Swiss huh with chips and salat. it came quite fast, was a generous service and was very tasty. service was pleasant and efficient. we have eaten a handful of occasions here in recent years and always had a good food. I was pretty sure I had made a good assessment before, but she couldn't find it. not a huge menu, but a good mix of decisions when they contain the daily specialties. more spacious and airy escaping area, so not much to blame.

This is our second time staying at this restaurant and I absolutely adore it. It may not be overly fancy, but it is clean and cozy, and the staff is the friendliest. Since we were visiting family, we didn't spend much time here other than to sleep, but having our room separate from the kids was wonderful. The room service also provided us with a good laugh, and it is a story we will remember for a long time. Thank you to the ladies! We will definitely be back soon.
