The Hideaway - Brighton

Making a reservation at this restaurant has been quite frustrating. The first time I attempted to visit, I reserved a spot online, only to arrive and find out that the Hideaway was closed for a private event. On my second visit, I again made an online reservation, but when I arrived, the space was being prepared for a comedy show and it was cleared out. My partner and I ended up sitting upstairs. The food was average, but our server was outstanding. The Hideaway really needs to figure out how to manage their reservations when hosting events.

The reservation process at this restaurant is quite chaotic. The food was average, but our server was excellent. The restaurant really needs to improve their booking system, especially when events are taking place.
