Tookta's Thai Food - Brighton

Best Tom-Yum I had ever, I guess that eating is easy to taste to match the entire British palate, as thai can not be causal spicy, but that has 't impact on my joy at all and the dishes were still pleasantly hot. Delicious red curry and deceptively large bowls that hold much more than they seem. left full and satisfied. a little expensive for a student, but these are the cost to compete an independent business with restaurant chains that have economies of scaling supply chains. beautiful service decoration. I'd like to visit again if I'm not such a student. ps. do not listen to so-called foods that believe that there are double cream in Thai curry, it is thickened with kokosmilch and I found it suitable for milk allergy sufferers.

Fantastic place. Delicious food. Quality ingredients and generous portions. A great atmosphere. The man who served us was really welcoming, warm and friendly. Tookta, the owner and chef, came round to meet us and was lovely too. I’ll be back very soon and often.

Delicious food, a comfortable and cozy dining room and great service. The green curry with prawns was just amazing. Highly recommended.

Superb place for vegans. They are really clear about what is vegan and what isn 't... Because we were early, we were able to have the vegetable tempura, which was fried in fresh oil. The vegan Thai green curry is homemade from scratch and was the most fresh, flavoursome and delicious I 've ever had in fact, I 'd advise you non vegans to opt for that as the sauce for your meat curry, because its fresh and homemade, nothing from a packet... From now on, this will be my staple when I 'm in Brighton...

Food is excellent, really fresh and so so tasty. Brilliant friendly service also . Tiny place so make sure book well in advance. Can't recommend enough, best resurant meal/food had in ages
