The Famous Sichuan - Brighton

I had an unforgettable dinner here two nights ago. The meal was as authentic as anything you’d find in Chengdu or Beijing. We indulged in the exquisite braided grilled fish, which was perfectly infused with a heavenly umami spice, accompanied by a selection of five side dishes and steamed rice, all paired beautifully with Tsingtao beer and jasmine tea. Our appetites were definitely awakened! Bob was incredibly welcoming and hospitable. We will definitely return on our next visit to Brighton. I highly recommend this restaurant for its genuine Sichuan cuisine served with passion.

The restaurant may not be fancy, but the generous portions of DELICIOUS food were served up in no time.

The portions are huge! The prices are a bit high, but the food is very tasty. The staff was incredibly helpful.

Hopefully a balanced review. light, non-fat foods cooked in FRESH oil, I have eaten in other restaurants where the deep fried products are ruined by old oil. the food was hot. I live not far away and my address is easy to find. if they live in an apartment with several inhabitants and a bell that doesn't work, they have their phone on still, or can't hear it ring, eating wants to be cold. the staff said an hour, but it came in 20 minutes. I think they say they give themselves a wriggle room. the food was delicious, apart from the Mongolian lamb, which tasted good, but was too dry for me. my friend fucked with gusto on the lamb and pancake, so it's personal taste. the fried items were very tasty and quite crisp. I never expect food that was fried and in container with a lid to be perfectly crisp. eating, yes, sounds terrible, sweat in a box with a lid. it is called evaporation and condensation. the steam hits the lid and drips down, leading to a sader soggier affair. if you want perfection, eat in. Although the interior doesn't make so much fun, I would try sometime because my experience with eating was very positiw. the sweet and acidic sauce was perfectly balanced with the right amount of acidic. the noodles easily; a very generous part packed into the tub. the crispy chili beef was excellent. it was cheap, tasty and really good value for money. I am very glad to have found this restaurant. next time I will choose the Sichuan article, as I love the taste of the pfefferian heat.
