Zer Mili - Brig

We really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was served quickly and was wonderfully prepared. The waitress and chef were very attentive. It was a very nice visit to the restaurant. Highly recommended.

I got an answer from the manager and I think everyone deserves a second chance. That's why I give 5 stars. Because my penultimate visit deserved it. After the next visit I will rewrite the review. Old review: We had our wedding dinner there 6 years ago and it was great! Apparently the operator has changed since then, we wanted to have a coffee and a dessert on a Sunday afternoon and visited the company. Although not all tables were occupied and you could see this from the entrance, we were brushed off by the employee at the entrance. That's not what I expect from a Swiss Guild company. Very unfortunate.

Stopped to get a quick bite at Zer Mili on our way to Zermatt. What a huge mistake. While rated as one of the best restaurants in Brig, Zer Mili was one of the worst restaurants on our trip. The food was so incredibly mediocre, it’s clear you are only paying for the view. You are also not there for the atmosphere, which felt like a funeral where all the attendees are also deceased. I nearly fell asleep while waiting for a summer bowl that should have taken less than five minutes to prepare, but instead took nearly 30 minutes to come out. It was a bizarre combination of vegetables, (poor quality) fruit, two pieces of lettuce, over buttered rice, and dry chicken at a cost of 25CHF. I’ve had better bowls at fast food restaurants in the US. My partner’s meal was not any better and instead of the salmon he asked for, they brought him chicken. I regret the money and time I spent at Zer Mili, and I caution anyone who is planning to go there to go only for the view not for the food.

Absolutely wonderful staff! Friendly and caring that you have the best time of your life. It's a high class looking restaurant with a great view, but with the cosiness of your home. Love it! Definitely would come back here when I'm near this place. Since we came in late they gave us great advice on where to go after our visit.
