Enmore Inn Pub - Bridgwater

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were a group of 14, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us and ensure our comfort. They also successfully served all our food at the same time, which is something many great restaurants struggle with. They truly met all our group’s needs.

This is a beautiful restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The main course was excellent, but unfortunately, the dessert was quite disappointing. The quantity and quality just weren't there. Perhaps another choice would have fared better, but two of us ordered the apple crumble, which resembled more of a baked apple with custard and a sprinkling of crumbs—similar to what you'd find in a package at the supermarket. I try to be fair, but when you pay an extra £4.95 for a dessert, you expect better. As they would say in Star Trek, it was "crispy, Jim, but not as we know it!"

The carvery and desserts offered great value for money. The quality of the carvery meat was excellent. We really enjoyed our Sunday dinner here, and it's a perfect choice for larger groups or families with children.

We had Christmas lunch with Emma and her Team and I cannot commend them enough on a thoroughly delicious meal and warm friendly atmosphere. Emma was so helpful before hand when booking, I would recommend a visit to the Enmore to anyone. We will be back and once again thanks for a lovely day.
