Bidrage med feedbackGood pub food with most items on the menu in the location, gf are made. I was told that all their batteries are gf and so is the deep frit.
If you were changing over $14 ice I thought it would have been much better, then a kindergarten, I would suggest to change and make it a better presentation.
We have been eating regularly in this hotel for many years to gather with friends and eating is generally acceptable until the last lunch last week. I had a bark carving that was very thick, he curled like one. overcrowded velvet and was ridden with kissel, was crushed in cooking oil and was definitiv not tender. the chips were too salty and the salate was limp. my friends who had chips also complained to be too salty and my partner had too many small bones in their fish. the man tried to soften me by offering another meal by saying that the bark carving was one of their most popular dishes, and that was the way people liked it disapointing and will probably look at us elsewhere for our future monthly lunches
We recently enjoyed the bridgewater inn. it is easy to reach from adelaide - about half an hour. there are many parking spaces. it is a really beautiful building typical of many in southern Australia. the staff was very nice and friendly. we had one. and when we discovered that it was close to the bar, our application was understood to be a quieter one, and another table found quickly and without fuss. eating was really good and service was fast, although it was a busy time.
Fantastic location and even better if the sun seems. it's been good for over a decade since I've been here and it was better than I remember. a few cold beer in the beer garden with the bach, the nice flowing. it was quite busy...for an early Tuesday afternoon tho the meals came fast and hot n fresh. I ordered the tandoori garfish that were light, delicious and fresh. my father and I had a really nice couple of hours and thank them all happy, helpful staff.
